SUMMARY:Konfliktmoderation in Gruppen
DESCRIPTION:1. Block der Fortbildung\nNeben der klassischen Zwei-Personen-Mediation sind viele Mediator*innen auch bei Konflikten mit mehreren beteiligten Personen tätig. In Arbeitsteams\, Gremien\, Wohngruppen oder Familien entstehen Konflikte\, wenn begrenzte Ressourcen verteilt\, Ziele vereinbart\, Entscheidungen getroffen oder Regeln des Miteinanders ausgehandelt werden.\nDiese Weiterbildung richtet sich an Mediator*innen\, die bereits über grundlegende Mediationskompetenzen verfügen und sich gezielt auf die Vermittlung in komplexeren Gruppensettings vorbereiten möchten – insbesondere bei Gruppen mit bis zu 20 Konfliktparteien.\nDie Mediation von solchen Gruppenkonflikten erfordert dieselbe allparteiliche Grundhaltung wie die Zwei-Personen-Mediation\, stellt jedoch deutlich höhere Anforderungen an Moderations- und Methodenkompetenzen. Die Weiterbildung erweitert das vorhandene Methodenrepertoire und vermittelt praxisnah\, wie Mediation in größeren Gruppen gelingen kann.\nTeilnehmende erhalten einen fundierten Einblick in die Besonderheiten der Mediation in Gruppen von bis zu 20 Personen. SUMMARY:Defending Human Rights
DESCRIPTION:Part of „Practitioner Trainings for Nonviolent Conflict Transformation“ (autumn 2026)\nHuman rights matter for peace work in at least three different ways. The denial of human rights can be a cause for conflict. Violent conflict often goes along with gross human rights violations. And human rights can serve as a vision for a just and peaceful society in a post-conflict setting. In this training we uncover the origin(s) of human rights\, give an overview of the most important international and regional human rights standards and apply these to selected case studies of human rights violations. Furthermore we will discuss the universality of human rights from different perspectives. We will share examples how human rights are effectively claimed and defended and how human rights defenders can be protected. SUMMARY:Ausbildung Mediation
DESCRIPTION:Im Oktober 2026 startet unsere 130-stündige Herbstausbildung Mediation. Die Ausbildung beinhaltet alle Lehrinhalte\, die für die gesetzliche Zertifizierung als Mediator*in benötigt werden (gemäß § 5 Abs. 2 des Mediationsgesetzes). Sie beginnt mit einem 3-tägigen Seminar und wird in 7 Blöcken weitergeführt. Folgende Inhalte werden vermittelt:\n· Konflikttheorien und „Denkzeuge“\n· Rahmen und Phasen der Mediation\n· Konfliktberatung\n· Techniken der Gesprächs- und Verhandlungsführung\n· Rolle und Haltung von Mediator*innen\n· Umgang mit Emotionen\n· Recht der Mediation\n· Online-Mediation\n· Digitalkompetenzen \nDie Ausbildung ist praxisorientiert\, so dass unter anderem eine angemessene Gesprächsführung\, die Erhellung der Hintergründe eines Konfliktes sowie die Einbettung der Mediation in den Arbeits- und Lebensalltag unter Anleitung geübt werden. Von den bisherigen Teilnehmer*innen wurde diese Praxisnähe stets besonders geschätzt.\nDie Ausbildung gibt einen umfangreichen und intensiven Einblick in die Methoden und Techniken der Mediation und eröffnet die Möglichkeit\, sich selbst in der Durchführung zu stärken. SUMMARY:Campaigning for Nonviolent Change
DESCRIPTION:Part of „Practitioner Trainings for Nonviolent Conflict Transformation“ (autumn 2026)\nCampaigns are a key activity of social movements in order to foster social change. In this training\, we will explore the role of nonviolent campaigns in the complex context of social change. Based on own case examples\, participants will explore a typical cycle of campaign development\, planning and organising. According to the participants’ interests and needs\, they will apply tools to analyse their movement’s social issue\, reflect on different campaign and action types (for both presence and digital spheres)\, and deepen their understanding of the concepts of organising\, mobilising\, strategies\, narratives\, campaigns and actions. At the end of the training participants will be ready to develop a complete nonviolent campaign plan.
